1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website, requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or creating a business account, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any service-specific terms provided at the time of booking.

2. Quotes and bookings

Quotes are estimates based on the shipment details provided and are valid for the period stated at issue, typically 14 days, unless otherwise specified. Final charges may vary from a quoted rate where actual shipment weight, dimensions or handling requirements differ materially from what was declared. A booking is confirmed once accepted by Northstar Logistics and is subject to vehicle and route availability.

3. Shipper responsibilities

Shippers are responsible for accurately declaring the contents, weight, dimensions and any hazardous or special-handling characteristics of goods tendered for shipment, and for ensuring goods are packaged appropriately for the mode of transport booked. Northstar Logistics reserves the right to refuse or delay shipment of goods that are inadequately packaged, mis-declared, or prohibited under applicable law.

4. Liability and claims

Northstar Logistics' liability for loss or damage to goods in transit is limited as set out in the applicable service agreement or waybill terms at the time of booking. Claims for loss or damage must be submitted through our claims process within the timeframe specified at booking, accompanied by supporting documentation.

5. Payment and invoicing

Payment terms are as agreed at booking or under a business account contract. Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. Late payment may affect future booking eligibility or contract pricing.

6. Cancellations

Bookings may be cancelled or amended prior to pickup subject to any cancellation terms communicated at booking. Cancellations after a vehicle has been dispatched may incur a fee reflecting costs already committed.

7. Website use

This website and its content are provided for the purpose of requesting quotes, tracking shipments, and managing bookings and accounts. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access accounts other than your own, or interfere with its normal operation.

8. Governing terms

These terms, together with any service-specific agreement, constitute the full agreement between a customer and Northstar Logistics regarding use of our services and this website.
