Accessibility Statement

Last updated August 18, 2026

This is a demonstration website for a fictional company. This Accessibility Statement is sample copy illustrating the structure a real logistics provider's accessibility statement would contain, though the site itself has been built with genuine accessibility practices, described below.

Our commitment

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or browser zoom and high-contrast settings. Accessibility is treated as part of the design system, not an afterthought applied at the end.

What we've built in

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and labelled form fields throughout the site.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, including menus and interactive components, with visible focus states on every interactive element.
  • A "skip to content" link on every page for keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repeated navigation.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background across the design system's navy, off-white and accent color palette.
  • Descriptive link text and labelled icon-only controls (such as social and quick-action links) rather than relying on icons alone.
  • Responsive layout that supports browser zoom and varied device sizes without loss of content or function.

Known limitations

As with any website, some areas may not yet meet every accessibility guideline perfectly. We treat accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a one-time certification, and we welcome reports of any barrier encountered.

Feedback

If you experience an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, please let us know through the Contact page, specifying the department as General Enquiries, so it can be reviewed and addressed.
