Working Here
Careers at Northstar Logistics
Work that moves something real every day
Logistics work is unglamorous in the way that matters — nobody hires a dispatcher for the applause, they hire one because a delayed shipment at 6am needs a decision, not a meeting. If that kind of work appeals to you more than it exhausts you, you'd probably fit in here. Our teams span dispatch and operations, driving, warehouse and hub management, customer support, sales and account management, and the technology and finance functions that keep the whole network running.
We hire across experience levels, from drivers building a career in specialized transport to graduates joining operations planning. What we look for consistently is ownership — people who'd rather fix a problem at 4pm than leave a clean handoff note for the next shift to inherit it.
Life in the roles that keep freight moving
Dispatch & Operations. This is the nerve center — coordinating pickups, allocating vehicles, and being the first call when a route hits a problem. It's fast-paced and genuinely consequential: a good dispatch decision at the right moment prevents a missed delivery window three steps down the line.
Drivers & Fleet. Our drivers run everything from same-day courier routes to specialized oversized-equipment moves that take weeks of planning. Route-specific training, current equipment, and a dispatch team that treats a driver's on-road judgment as expertise, not a variable to manage around.
Warehouse & Hub Operations. Pick-and-pack accuracy, inventory visibility, and dock efficiency directly determine whether the rest of the network can hit its numbers. Hub teams are the reason a regional consolidation plan works in practice, not just on a whiteboard.
Customer Support & Account Management. The people who make sure a business account holder never has to explain their own shipment history to us twice. This work rewards people who are unbothered by a hard conversation and good at turning one into a resolved ticket.
How to apply
This is a demonstration site built to showcase a logistics company's web platform, so there isn't a live job board or application system behind this page — but this is the copy and tone we'd use for one. If you're evaluating this project and want to see how a careers section, application flow, or open-roles listing would be structured, that's exactly the kind of detail this build is meant to demonstrate.
